New Delhi: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has registered an FIR for cheating against former BJP MP Kanwar Singh Tanwar on the basis of a court order.
The former MP is accused of cheating a real estate company of Rs 65 crore. The EOW is now investigating the matter.
According to information received, a complaint regarding cheating against Tanwar was made in the court . During the hearing of the case, the court directed the EOW to investigate the entire matter by registering an FIR in this regard.
Tanwar was BJP Member of the Lok Sabha representing Amroha in Uttar Pradesh from 2014 to 2019.
