New Delhi: As the farmers protesting against the three farm laws were baton-charged in Haryana's Karnal. leading to the death of one framer, Sankuyt Kisan Morcha blamed the Khattar government for the atrocities against the farmers. Speaking to ETV Bharat, Sankuyt Kisan Morcha and All India Kisan Sabha general secretary Hanan Mollah said that, "Our movement against the three farm laws has always been peaceful but when the government could not suppress the voice of the farmers despite all the tricks, they chose a violent path."

Rejecting the governments claim that the 55-year-old farmer died of a heart attack, Mollah blamed the police for his death and said that the Haryana government is saying that he died of a heart attack and denying that he died due to police brutality. However, the truth is that he did not go to hospital after the lathicharge nor was a post-mortem conducted so the real cause of his death could not be ascertained. He went to his house in normal condition and died during his sleep, he added.
