Ghazipur (Uttar Pradesh): After BJP losing the election battle to Trinamool Congress In West Bengal. the farmers sitting at the protest sites expressed their gratitude towards the people of West Bengal for not choosing the saffron brigade.

"I want to congratulate those who have been elected in the recently concluded elections. Also, I want to extend my gratitude to those farm leaders who had visited Bengal to create awareness among the public about the three contentious farms," Bajwa said.

Farmers have been protesting against the three farm laws: Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act 2020.
