MoS Education Annapurna Devi said every class of the society got a place in Modi 2.0 Cabinet which clearly implements the government's motto of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' on-ground reality.

New Delhi: Minister of State for Education Annapurna Devi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 2.0 Cabinet has given representation to every class and section of the society which clearly implements the government's policy of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' on-ground reality.

In an exclusive conversation with ETV Bharat, Annapurna Devi said the 2.0 Cabinet is unique as it the first cabinet expansion of the second term of the Modi government where a special place has been given to women with the induction of 11 women ministers into the Modi team.

Amid the Centre's efforts to repair the Covid-hit education system of India, the Ministry of Education got all the new ministers following the Union Cabinet reshuffle. On being asked about their perspective over the upcoming tough challenges concerning better performance, the BJP Mahila Morcha Vice President said that she looks at the challenges as big opportunities and considers working in PM Modi's team as a reward.

The Jharkhand MP from Koderma said that India's new education policy received huge appreciation from across the world and the goal of the new Education Ministry will be to implement the roadmap, prepared by PM Modi for the development of the education sector, to the ground. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed IIT institutions on Thursday and also spoke to the newly appointed ministers of the Education Ministry.

Annapurna Devi informed that PM Modi also discussed possible ways to make education accessible to all children amid the Covid pandemic. According to reports, all new ministers have been advised to stay in Delhi till August 15 and refrain from celebrating their appointments. On being asked about her views in this regard, Annapurna Devi said that will be a good initiative and all ministers should follow it as PM himself never takes leave and serving the nation is his only priority.
