Kulgam (J&K): A militant was killed while two civilians and an army soldier were injured in an encounter between security forces and militants in Ves Batpora area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Monday.
Kashmir Zone Police tweeted that one militant of the proscribed outfit JeM was killed and his identification was being ascertained. Earlier, the police said that one Army soldier and two civilians were injured in the encounter. "All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment," the police spokesman said.
Sources said that a search operation was still going on in the area.
