New Delhi: Sleuths from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have been conducting raids at several places in Jharkhand and West Bengal. According to media reports, these raids are being conducted in connection with the grabbing of Army land. In the grabbing case related to Army land, the Enforcement Directorate team has been conducting raids in Jharkhand's Ranchi and West Bengal.
According to information received from ED sources, accused Amit Agarwal grabbed the Army land in the Bariatu area of Ranchi with forged documents. Based on doctored documents, the accused encroached 50 acres of Army land in the Bariatu area of Ranchi. ED sleuths have been grilling accused Amit Agarwal in this connection. Several Circle Officers and registrars, including a former Municipal Commissioner, are on the Enforcement Directorate's radar. The Enforcement Directorate has been conducting raids at eight places in Jharkhand and four other places in West Bengal in connection with the Army land grabbing case.
