However, he did not reveal any details on what his role would be in politics in the days to come. But his meetings with Rahul Gandhi confirmed that he is keen to join the Congress party, but the question about his role still handing in balance.

Sources say that Prashant Kishor has proposed to Rahul Gandhi that he should be given the responsibility of election strategy and alliances. In which Prashant Kishor should have the right to decide on the alliance of the party in all the upcoming elections. The Congress, which is battling with internal discord, feels that it can be risky to give such authority to an "outsider" since it prefers consensus over such issues.

Recently, a meeting of the G23 leaders, who wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi demanding an organizational overhaul, was also being held, where a majority of the leaders opined that Prashant Kishor should not be given a key responsibility within the party. Instead, it is necessary for the party to talk to the party members regarding such matters. "We have enough talent within our own party. There are so many experienced leaders as well.
