UP Assembly Polls: BJP chalks out campaign strategy at meeting held in Delhi

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a crucial meeting in Delhi on Thursday regarding the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The closed-door meeting was held in the war room at K11 Ashok Road. According to sources during the meeting attended by BJP president JP Nadda and general secretary (organization) BL Santosh, Uttar Pradesh election in charge Radha Mohan Singh, state president Swatantra Dev Singh the party's strategy for the Assembly election was discussed.

The Uttar Pradesh state president said that detailed discussions were held about the election strategy and programmes including those to be held by Home Minister Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP President JP Nadda.

BJP insiders said that the routes and dates of the Vijay Sankalp Yatras were also discussed and the names of those who will be in charge of yatras will be decided soon. They further revealed that crucial decisions regarding the BJP's campaign strategy in Uttar Pradesh were also taken during the meeting.

Issues such as when the election campaign has to be intensified and which issues have to be given prominence during campaigning were discussed in detail during the meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh on November 19. During the visit, he will address a mega rally in Mahoba after which he will also visit Jhansi.BJP president JP Nadda will also visit the state from November 22 to November 23 during which he will take stock of the election preparations at different places and will also visit Yogi Adityanath's areas Gorakhpur and Kanpur.

During the meeting, Nadda advised all the office bearers to keep giving the mantra of victory from time to time to the booth presidents and party office bearers.
