Kupwara (J&K): A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was injured as militants hurled a grenade at a CRPF bunker in Langate area of Handwara, Kupwara district on Monday, the J&K Police said, adding that a vehicle was damaged. The army has cordoned off the area after the attack and efforts are still on to nab the militants.
Earlier on Sunday, a CRPF jawan was injured after militants had lobbed a grenade at security forces in the Sanantnagar area of Srinagar. Prior to that on Friday, a foreign militant associated with terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba was neutralised while another managed to flee in the gunfight at Kulgam.
