New Delhi: India reported 31,923 new cases, 31,990 recoveries and 282 deaths in 24 hours ending 8 am on Thursday, the Union Health Ministry said in a bulletin. With this, the total tally of active cases stands at 3,01,604. The death toll stands at 4,46,050. The number of people who have recuperated from the disease has surged to 3,28,15,731.
According to the health ministry, 55,83,67,013 samples have been tested till September 22 of which 15,27,443 were tested on Wednesday. According to the ministry, more than 83.39 crore jabs have been administered so far, of which 71,38,205 people were inoculated on Wednesday.
