The Mumbai Sessions court will pronounce its order in the anticipatory bail application of Raj Kundra in the Maharashtra Cyber department case of 2020 on August 2. The court adjourned the order due to a paucity of time today.
Even before his arrest on July 19, the Maharashtra Police Cyber Cell had booked businessman Raj Kundra for producing and creating pornographic content. The case was part of the Maharashtra Police's crackdown on several OTT platforms, including Kundra's Hot Shots app. The police had even arrested a photographer and a woman in connection with the case.
Kundra had, however, told the police earlier this year that he had sold his shares of the company and had submitted documents pertaining to his investments and exit formalities to the authorities.
