According to reports, the hearing of the civil suit seeking ownership of the entire 13.37 acres of Krishna Janmabhoomi land was adjourned till December 10 after the complainant in the case Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust failed to appear before the court on November 18.

The court had on October 16 admitted the plea seeking the removal of the mosque which is situated adjacent to Krishna Janambhoomi.

A group of people had filed a suit over the 17th century Shahi Idgah mosque, which they claimed was built at the birthplace of Lord Krishna, within the 13.37-acre premises of the Katra Keshav Dev temple.

The suit was filed on behalf of child deity Bhagwan Shri Krishna Virajman, through the "next friend" Ranjana Agnihotri and others.

Krishna devotee Ajay Goel, Virendra Agarwal, Dr Keshavacharya, Vijendra Poia and Yogesh Upadhyay Abha have submitted their respective applications seeking court's favour to demand the ownership of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and to make the premises mosque-free.
