Kashmir: PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti charged that corruption in Jammu and Kashmir has increased to such an extent that it has become difficult for people to breathe. She said that there was no sign of progress in the name of which section 370 was removed.
Mufti said that the identity of Jammu and Kashmir should be restored. She said that if the identity of Jammu and Kashmir is to be saved, then join the voice of PDP, while addressing her party colleagues in Poonch district.
"People of Jammu and Kashmir are being evicted from their lands. There is all kinds of chaos here," Mufti told reporters.
Mehbooba Mufti said that people from outside are coming to Jammu and Kashmir to do everything which according to her have led to unemployment among the locals.
Mufti added that farmers have been on the border for the last nine months, braving rains, sun and the cold waves.
"No one is talking about them but the Taliban are being talked about. There are many problems in our country, the biggest of which is that of the farmers. Then there is that of the people of Jammu and Kashmir", said Mufti.
She said that there was no sign of progress in Jammu and Kashmir. she said that the Central Government had repealed Sections 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir under the pretext of development but since the progress promised is yet to see the light of the day.
