New Delhi: Former MLA and Congress leader from Chandni Chowk constituency, Alka Lamba has been allegedly put under house arrest on Monday. The leader was set to participate in Mahila Kisan Sansad at Jantar Mantar today.
The Congress leader on her Twitter account wrote: "Delhi Police has kept me under house arrest on the orders of Tan-Shah, the police said that I cannot go to Jantar Mantar to participate in the Mahila Kisan Sansad to support the demands of the farmers. Isn't this a murder of democracy?"
