New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 12 examination results. They are available on the board's official website 'cbseresults.nic.in', 'digilocker.gov.in' and the 'DigiLocker app'. It is known that the 12th class examinations could not be conducted this year due to a surge in the Coronavirus cases, and in this regard an evaluation policy was issued by the CBSE to prepare the exam results.
As per the evaluation policy, the CBSE will be adopting a 30:30:40 formula to evaluate class 12 students based on the results of Class-X, XI and XII examinations respectively. In this regard, a 13-member panel was also set up by the board for the same. The theory paper evaluation formula is 30 per cent weightage given to Class 10 marks, 30 per cent weightage to Class 11 marks and 40 per cent weightage to Class 12 marks obtained in unit test, mid-term and pre-board exams.
Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Assam, Punjab and Meghalaya state 10th and 12th examination results will also be declared today. Students of these states can check their results from the official website of the respective state.

Earlier, on Wednesday (July 28) a bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari had dismissed a plea seeking reconsideration of its June 22 order refusing to interfere with the CBSE assessment scheme for conducting offline exam of Class 12 students of private, patrachar' and second compartment amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The plea was seeking review of the scheme as per which the offline exams would be conducted from August 15 to September 15 this year.
We hold that there is no reason to interfere with the scheme propounded by the CBSE or ICSE. Notably, there is another set of students represented by a different counsel who have unreservedly supported the Schemes under consideration and do not want any interference therewith, the bench had said. The top court had rejected the objections raised by a parents' body as well as students and said that it is not possible to have a second guess approach with regard to various aspects of the assessment scheme.
