Reva (Madhya Pradesh): As India is reeling under a severe second wave of COVID, hospitals are overburdened with patients. Many helpless people are being turned away by the hospitals for the lack of beds.
In a similar case, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan kept wandering from one hospital to another for 10 hours with his Covid infected wife for a bed in Reva, Madhya Pradesh.
The jawan pleaded for help, but no one came forward for help.

Meanwhile, when ETV Bharat reporter caught sight of the BSF jawan and his wife, he immediately helped him get his wife admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.
The BSF jawan, Vinod Tiwari, who hails from the Sidhi district is posted in Tripura. He was in Rewa to get his sick wife admitted to the hospital.

Lack of ICU beds and oxygen supply has made the condition of COVID-19 patients in Madhya Pradesh miserable. Patients, lying down in ambulances waiting for a bed in the hospital has become a common sight.

Just as hospitals, crematoriums, too, are filled with bodies with relatives struggling to find a slot to cremate the deceased.
Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday recorded 12,727 new Covid cases taking the total number of the cases in the state to 433,704.
