Kutch: The Gujarat ATS has arrested a BSF jawan for spying for Pakistan on the border. A Kashmiri jawan, who was posted in the Gandhidham unit of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Kutch, was caught while spying. The arrest of a BSF jawan by the Gujarat ATS has dealt a blow to the intelligence agencies of the border district of Kutch.
Earlier, the Kashmiri jawan was on duty in Tripura and was under surveillance since then as he was caught on the charge of espionage. Later, he was
posted in the 74th Battalion of Kutch Gandhidham.
He was recruited in BSF seven years ago. According to sources, the jawan hailing from the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir had come to Gandhidham in Kutch two months ago with his battalion. He was under the surveillance of intelligence agencies and it was also reported to the Gujarat ATS.
