New Delhi: Lakshadweep BJP workers are unhappy with the recent decisions and proposals introduced by the Lakshadweep Administrator Praful Khoda Patel.
Several BJP party workers are also leaving the party due to the recent measures introduced by Patel. The issue has also reached the BJP's central party leadership, where several members have raised concerns regarding the recent developments.
This dispute is now becoming a national issue as the INC leader Rahul Gandhi has also written a letter to the Prime Minister, urging him to direct the Lakshadweep Administrator to withdraw his decisions.

Meanwhile, the central leaders of BJP are refraining from speaking on this issue and the party leaders have also been instructed to avoid giving statements on this issue.
A BJP National Secretary on condition of anonymity said that the party wants to come up with a solution on the issue so that the local unit of BJP can be saved from breaking.
