BJP is running away from bypolls in Haryana: Bhupinder Singh Hooda

Haryana's Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, on Monday, accused BJP of deliberately avoiding Ellenabad by-election and panchayat polls in the state.

New Delhi: Haryana's Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, on Monday, accused BJP of deliberately avoiding Ellenabad by-election and panchayat polls in the state. While speaking to the media, Hooda said, "The Government knows that the people are disillusioned with them. There is anger in every section, including the farmers, against the policies of the alliance. Today the youth is facing the highest unemployment in the country," while citing the data of CMIE which stated that the unemployment rate of Haryana is at 35.7 per cent.

Mentioning the Kisan Mahapanchayat in Muzaffarnagar, Hooda said that farmers raised their demand "peacefully and successfully" and asserted that government should establish q dialogue with the farmers without any further delay. "The Kisan Mahapanchayat has proved that farmers are against the three farm laws of Central Government," Hooda said.
