Kolkata (West Bengal): In an attempt to highlight the post-poll violence in the state, BJP has now decided to come out with a unique documentary highlighting the different shades of political ferocity in the state since the assembly election results were announced. The members of the party's IT cell will be responsible for the creation of the documentary. However, they would also take the expert advice of some professional documentary makers on the issue.

Besides Bengal, the documentary will be also be made in regional languages in order to highlight the post- poll violence scenario in West Bengal throughout the country. Here the target is of course West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee. Confirming the development, the state BJP vice president, Pratap Bandyopadhyay said that the pathetic law & order situation in West Bengal will be highlighted through this documentary.

"Mamata Banerjee is dreaming to be the next Prime Minister. She is going to Delhi and resorting to all sorts of dramas. However, we will highlight the real picture in West Bengal, not just in this state but also in other states like Tripura, Assam, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, among others. We will highlight how the people of West Bengal are suffering in the Trinamool Congress ruled state," Bandyopadhyay told ETV Bharat.

It is learnt that this documentary is being filmed based on the instructions from the party's central high command in New Delhi. Already, a part of the proposed documentary has been screened in the BJP office at Hastings in Kolkata. Also, during a party programme, attended by the Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, a part of the documentary was also shown to media-persons.

It is perceived that this documentary is a counter move to Mamata Banerjee's attempt to unite opposition forces as a part of her strategy to initiate a national level movement against the BJP. According to sources, following the West Bengal elections around 130 BJP supporters were killed. The documentary will feature the reaction of family members of the victims.
