Bihar leaders celebrated the birthday of the PM in their own ways. A grand function was held at BJP state headquarters located in Beerchand Patel Path in which state unit president Sanjay Jaiswal and several other senior leaders of the party were present, including BJP general secretary Bhikubhai Dalsaniya.

A sand artist has made the image of the PM in the premises of the BJP office attracting many BJP leaders. Photo Exhibition related to the life of the PM was also organised. A Namo Tea stall was also there in the office.

Since morning several programmes were organised at different locations in the state. To mark the 71st birthday of PM Bihar Animal and fish resources department minister Mukesh Sahni released 71 thousand fish into river Ganga.

When the last time Sahni had visited PMO along with Nitish to press the demand for caste-based census he had gifted a silverfish to PM. BJP youth wing functionaries poured 71 litres of milk on the photo of the PM at Darbhanga House Ghat in Patna.

Much before the mega vaccination drive, health minister Magal Pandey today performed 'Havan' at the famous Hanuman Mandir located near Patna Junction for the long life of PM. He performed half an hour special 'Havan' along with the temple priest with must devotion and respect.

Former union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad also performed 'Havan' for the long life of PM apart from visiting several temples and distributing fruits at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna.

Leader of opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav also wished PM Modi on his 71st birthday. However, his party RJD also used the occasion to attack him and Nitish Kumar.

Meanwhile, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) displayed a poster outside the party office slamming the PM for inflation and privatisation. Through the poster, RJD reminded the PM about the promises of 2 crore jobs and youth selling 'pakodas'. Attacking PM, the RJD also took a jibe by alleging that PM has sold government institutions like BSNL, Railway, Airport, ONGC and LIC to the private players.

In another attack, RJD in their official Twitter handle posted the photo of Nitish in which he was writing a message to the PM wishing him on his birthday.

Along with the photo the caption read, “The fear of losing chair has forced CM to do all sorts of things. Pitty, helpless person who is occupying the post of CM on the compensatory ground. He is the same person who had pulled the dinner plate after his photo had appeared with Modi. He has returned the flood relief money received from Gujarat. The PM had rightly said that there was some problem with his DNA.”

Bihar youth Congress on the other hand marked the occasion of Modi's birthday as National Unemployment Day and shouted slogans against the PM in Patna.
