New Delhi: Bihar Vidhan Sabha speaker Vijay Sinha on Thursday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital. Sinha not only discussed the political developments of the state but also as to how the assembly sessions will be held in a full-fledged manner amid COVID-19 with the top central leadership. Vijay Sinha also met Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla and presented the leaders shawl, memento and diary.
Sinha also extended New Year’s greetings to Birla on behalf of all the citizens of Bihar.
"Discussions on how the legislative assembly session will function smoothly was also done," four-time MLA added.
He said that Nitish-led NDA government in Bihar is taking all possible steps for all the overall welfare of the state and the development is expected to accelerate soon.
Sinha, who is also a senior BJP leader, is also expected to meet President Ram Nath Kovind today.
