New Delhi: To oppose three contentious farm laws, government's invitation for lateral entry to ministry posts and privatisation of PSUs, Chandrashekhar Azad on Monday declared to gherao the Parliament on March 7.
"The government's agenda is to abolish the reservation of backward classes in the name of privatisation. The government wants to give lateral enter to their favourites at the higher level, but we will not let the government do so and will do gherao the Parliament on March 7," said Azad Samaj Party chief Chandrashekhar Azad adding that this gehrao will also be in the support of farmers.
Azad also demanded reservation in those PSUs which are now privatised and said that the government is killing the constitution for not giving equal opportunity to all and recruiting their favourites.
He further said the PSUs like banks, insurance and BPCL were the one's which were employing a large number of youths but they are now being privatised.
"This shows that the government is now working on the agenda of RSS and they want the backward class which had now achieved some better living standards to push them where they were earlier," he added.
