New Delhi: In a move to highlight the issue of rising unemployment rate in the country, Youth Congress launches a new initiative namely "Young India ke Bol", aiming to give voice to the plight of young and unemployed citizens of India.
Earlier, the Youth Congress launched 'National Register of Unemployed' (NRU) in which a toll-free number 8151994411 was released, for the Unemployed youth of India to give a missed call so that the data of unemployment rate can be collected which would later on being sent to the BJP government.
'Young India ke Bol' is the next step to this initiative which has been launched countrywide. Under this, a speech competition has been organized at the district level, asking people to address the menacing problem of unemployment in India and to demand over the need of NRU.

While speaking to ETV Bharat, Youth Congress General Secretary Harish Pawar said, "This initiative is envisioned to give a platform to the young powerful and those who can communicate their thoughts to inspire the youth and peers and to encourage participatory democracy."
He further said, "In future, whenever this government will be remembered it will be remembered for unconstitutional governance. Be it GST, demonetization, or rising unemployment, the economy is constantly falling. There is a need to bring about a register of unemployment so that the entire country gets a clear number of the increasing problem of unemployment."

IYC spokesperson Amrish Ranjan Pandey said, "Unemployed people have taken up protests all over the nation, raising their voices against this government's inability. But, instead of acknowledging their concerns, the government has treated them with complete indifference and has even resorted to silence in their voices with brute force."
