Vijayapura (Karnataka): A woman and her lover were allegedly killed by the family members of the former after they were caught in a compromising position, police said.
It said the woman, aged around 35, was caught by her son and husband with her lover identified as Amarnath Sollapura (25).
They attacked the two with an axe and killed them, the police added.
A case has been registered at the Vijayapura (Rural) Police Station and the probe is on, the police said.
