Kolkata: A 37-year old woman on Thursday was brought down after she climbed atop pillar of the Howrah Bridge creating high drama. The woman perched there for around 20 minutes after which a joint team from the city and Howrah police, along with a team of fire officials managed to bring there down.
She demanded 'Nobel Prize in possession of Amartya Sen' for herself and refused to come down. However, after hours of convincing, the cops finally brought her down.
Once in safe custody, the woman made a number of claims, one of which included, "winning the Nobel prize at a very young age".
The woman was first noticed by the pedestrians who raised an alarm for help. The cops swung into action after receiving the information and started the rescue operation.

Two days earlier, the woman had climbed the Howrah bridge and was brought down by a team joint team of policemen and fire officers after a high drama.
"The woman was confused and was rambling. We have informed her family members and she is likely to be handed over to them," said the cops.
