Bharti said that she joined BJP because she believed BJP as leadership under PM Narendra Modi who will take India to the giant leap in the next decade in the global platform.
Speaking about Mamata Banerjee she added that at the time when she was working with her, she was pro-people but now she is pro-party, pro-politics for which she left the party.
On whether she would be contesting in the upcoming parliamentary elections, she said that the decision depends on the party and she has only joined politics to serve the people.
Commenting on the ongoing situation in West Bengal, Bharti Ghosh said that current Mamata Banerjee government is trying to kill democracy just to protect herself and her close aides.
Talking about the dharna she said " she should have held this satyagraha when lakhs of people lost their money in saradha scam and committed suicide. She could have served people at that time. she questioned what kind of Satyagraha she is doing? To shield an IPS officer and block the investigation?"
