Hyderabad: In an act of bravery, a Railway Protection Force(RPF) constable, Vikul Kumar saved a passenger's life at Hyderabad's Nampally railway station on Thursday.

An RPF constable rescued a passenger who had fallen into the gap between the platform and a moving train

A 45-year-old passenger had slipped into the gap between the platform and a moving train while getting down from coach S4.
Acting quickly, the on-duty constable rescued the passenger named T Venkat Reddy. The constable pulled the passenger out even when the train was moving.

This happened when Train no 12759 Charminar Express from Chennai was entering Platform No. 5 at about 8 am.

The whole incident was captured in the CCTV footage.

Sir, Today On 29.08.19 . Shri. Vikul Kumar CT/938 of Hyderabad Post, SC Div was on duty in the shift of 6.00 to 14.00 hrs. While attending incoming train no. 12759(Charminar Express, MAS to HYB) at about 08.20 hrs one passenger by name T. VENKAT Reddy S/o T. Narsimha Reddy Age , about 45 yrs, fell down while getting down from moving train from S-4 coach. He was srtucked between Platform and Train in run. On seeing this the onduty RPF staff impulsively acted and rescued the person .The person was traveling from SC to Hyb , Alertness and bravery act of CT Vikul Kumar of Hyb post saved the life of a male passenger.He did not get any injuries CCTV clip depicts the incident.
