Villager's head smashed with stones in Maharashtra

In a horrific incident in Maharashtra, the head of a 21-year-old was smashed by his cousin over a small dispute. The incident took place in Usrovali village. However, no accused has been arrested and a case has been registered.

Thane: A 21-year-old man from Thane district in Maharashtra was allegedly killed by his cousin over some petty dispute, police said on Monday.

The incident occurred around 9 pm on Sunday in Usrovali village in Bhiwandi taluka, around 15 kms from here, when the accused Kishore Waghe (26) allegedly smashed the head of Balu Waghe with a stone, cops informed.

The accused is yet to be arrested. A case of murder has been registered by local police and an investigation is underway. (PTI REPORT)
