Lucknow(Uttar Pradesh): An FIR was registered at Gomtinagar Police station on Friday after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received death threat message at the whatsapp number of UP 112. Cops said that the unknown sender threatned to blow CM Yogi up with a bomb.
Cops said that they received a message on its helpline number threatening to blow up Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's residence and 50 other places in the state.
The message, which was received on a WhatsApp number, also threatened to blow up 50 other places in the state, they said.
The official residences of several other ministers are also situated on Kalidas Marg.
Sources said police have launched an intensive checking and also deployed sniffer dogs in the service. Police are making an all out effort to trace the culprit they added.
"I will kill Yogi with a bomb. I will also execute bomb attacks in fifty places across the state," the message read.
Earlier in May too, CM Yogi had received a threatening whatsapp message on May 22 in which the sender used objectionable and indecent language, calling the BJP Supremo a threat to the particular community. Later after two days, the accused was arrested by Maharashtra Anti- Terrorism in Mumbai. (With PTI inputs)
