Lucknow (UP): As scores of people arrived to get a closer look at the equipment on display at the Defense Expo 2020 in Lucknow on its final day, visitors were optimistic about PM Modi's 'Make in India' scheme.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, one of the visitors at the expo said that the Make in India programme and the dream of seeing India developing rapidly is turning into reality.
The youth believe that from the kind of equipment that the DRDO has exhibited, it is clearly evident that the dream of Make in India is being fulfilled.
Trisha, a student who had come to see the Defense Expo, believes that the Make in India programme is going at a good pace and the Indian Army will soon be number one in the world.
She also said that she was able to see BrahMos missile, Pinaka missile, UK pavilion and DRDO is doing a great job.
Some of the students were thrilled to see the weapons at the expo. Many mothers were also with their children who also had the same enthusiasm upon seeing the weapons and jets.
Students also believed that by visiting the expo, they were able to learn a lot of things.
