UP: BJP MLA's son threatens cop, says 'will get you transferred'

Kasganj BJP MLA Devendra Singh Rajput’s son Jasveer, accompanied by his cousin, arrived at the Soron Gate police station to get two ambulance drivers released after they were arrested by the station in-charge for creating a ruckus on a busy road, and got into a brawl with the cop.

Kasganj (Uttar Pradesh): Kasganj Bharatiya Janta Party MLA Devendra Singh Rajput’s son Jasveer on Wednesday allegedly got into a brawl with the station in-charge of Soron Gate police station Satyendra Pal Singh and threatened to get him transferred.

Jasveer accompanied by his cousin arrived at the police station to get two ambulance drivers released after they were arrested under section 151 (arrest to prevent the commission of cognizable offences) by Pal for fighting and creating a ruckus on a busy road.

"I had put two persons in lock up as they were creating a ruckus on road today. One of them called the MLA's son. When he came, he threatened to get me transferred in three days," said Satyendra Pal Singh.

The incident has been reported on a day when another BJP leader's son Akash Vijayvargiya- a first-time BJP legislator representing the Indore-3 assembly seat- was arrested for having thrashed a Municipal Corporation officer with a cricket bat.
