New Delhi: Amid the continued protest in Punjab against the newly implemented farm laws, at least 3 ministers of Modi government are expected to meet the agitating farmers on November 13.
According to sources, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar and Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal will be meeting with farmers.
The meeting is expected to be held at the Defence Minister's residence where Punjab's BJP leaders and farmers from the state will also be present, said sources.
Meanwhile, former Punjab minister and BJP leader Surjit Kumar Jyani said after his meeting with Rajnath Singh and Narendra Singh Tomar in New Delhi on Sunday that the ministers showed interest in solving the impasse and were ready to hold talks with farm leaders.

Jyani was called for the meeting following his outburst against the BJP leadership for not listening to farmers protesting against the central farm laws or bothering to talk to them, said sources.
It is pertinent to mention here that Jyani had on November 5 taken on the Centre, blaming Modi, Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda, saying they were not paying heed to the issues of farmers and insulting them.
