New Delhi: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat visited National Police Memorial in New Delhi on Monday to pay tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed themselves while protecting the nation.
He said that the National Police Memorial is a place of inspiration and gratitude and it reminds the nation of the valour of police forces.
While speaking to media, Uttarakhand Chief Minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for getting this memorial ready in a very short period.
He claimed that this monument will keep inspiring the service personnel of the nation.
During his press interaction, Rawat also confirmed that he met Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat calling it a routine meet as Uttarakhand is a bordering state.
Uttarakhand CM is also likely to meet BJP president JP Nadda soon to discuss the cabinet expansion.
