Two storey building collapses in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj

Kasganj: A family living in a two-storey building had a narrow escape as the building collapsed on Thursday afternoon. Three members of the family, including a child,  who were stuck under the debris, were pulled out and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. 

The incident was reported from Budh Nagla in Kasganj under the Kotwali police station limits. As soon as the news of the building collapse broke out, the rescue and administration team reached the incident spot and pulled out people stuck in the debris.  

The injured have been identified as Kusma, Bhawna and a one-year-old child Diksha and their condition is said to be critical.  

Police Superintendent, Manoj Kumar Shonkar, said, "The building was in a dilapidated condition and some construction work was going on in the neighbourhood which triggered the incident. Three women, including a child, were rescued and are undergoing treatment at the hospital."

The concerned officials, along with a police team, have reached the incident spot and are currently investigating the matter.
