Srinagar: Three militants were killed and one security personnel martyred in an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces which broke out in Dalipora area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir in the wee hours on Thursday.

Police told reporters that a joint team of army and SOG cordoned off Dalipora area near Pulwama police station following a tip off about the presence of some militants in the area.
After the joint team of forces intensified the searches, the militants opened fire leading to an encounter.
