Dungarpur(Rajasthan): Atleast two labourers died on Sunday after a well at a construction site they were working at collapsed and debris fell on them in Rajasthan's Dungarpur, a police official said. Two construction workers, identified as Bhim Singh and Mahesh Singh were rescued and they are undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital,they added.
"The deceased have been identified as Rakesh Maansingh and Gattu Singh and both of them hail from Maharashtra. Four people were digging a well at a construction site in Wara Godiya village when the mishap happened," said Aaspur SDM Sunil Kumar Jhigonia.
Kumar said, "As soon as the incident came to light, we rushed to the spot. Bodies of Bhim and Mahesh have been sent for autopsy and an investigation is underway."
It is to be noted that the situation is being monitored by Sangwara Deputy Commissioner Niranjan Charan and SHO Rizwan Khan.
