New Delhi: Kurian Philip, a Keralite residing in London, and a software engineer by profession, covered 22 countries in Asia and Europe, has now reached Delhi.
He always wanted to meet people from different countries and learn about their culture. When the dream started disturbing his sleep, he set out to a world tour on his bike.
Kurian started his journey on June 23 on his BMW 1200 GS Adventure bike. His friend Jason Martell also joined him in another bike.
On August 14, Kurian reached India after visiting countries like France, Austria, Georgia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan, and China. He arrived in Delhi by Sunday afternoon.

After spending Monday in Delhi, Kurian will go to Mumbai, the destination of the journey, on Tuesday. He will reach there in one week via Rajasthan and Gujarat. After that, the bike will be sent back to London on a ship. Kurian has already covered a distance of 19,000 km. it will be 22,000 km by the time he reaches Mumbai.
Kurian said that whenever he had to face troubles during the journey, the locals came to help him. Even language was no barrier in such situations. Residents were even willing to give petrol from their vehicles when he ran out of fuel. Whatever the media shows are different than they project in front of the audience, added Kurian.
