Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier stated on Friday that he will not forgive Sadhvi.

PM Modi said, "Can never forgive Sadhvi Pragya for insulting Mahatma Gandhi."

Pragya Singh Thakur, BJP's candidate from Bhopal parliamentary constituency had stirred a controversy by claiming that Nathuram Godse was a 'deshbhakt' (patriot) and will remain one.

She stated that Godse was a patriot and people calling him a terrorist should look within, taking a jibe at Kamal Hassan.

She was responding to Makkal Needhi Maiyam (MNM) founder Kamal Haasan, who stoked a possible controversy, saying independent India's first 'terrorist was a Hindu,' referring to Nathuram Godse who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi.

Sadhvi, an accused in the Malegaon blast case was earlier involved in a controversy, over her remarks against police officer Hemant Karkare, who was killed in the 26/11 terror attack.
