Suspected ISIS terrorist arrested in Bengaluru

The IB and CCB have arrested of several suspected members of groups linked directly or indirectly with the ISIS on Wednesday who were plotting a terror attack in the Country.

Bangalore: The State Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Central Crime Branch (CCB) police on Wednesday arrested a suspected terrorist Mehboob Pasha and his associates in Bangalore.

Police have been chasing these suspected terrorists around the country for the past week. Mehboob Pasha has been jointly operated by the State Intelligence Bureau and CCB in the state.

Mehboob Pasha, who led the Bangalore Jihadi group, founded the Al Hind Trust on Bannerghatta Road and pioneered the jihadi organization. He set up a trust named Al-Hind and planned to purchase land in Gundlupet Taluk.

The suspects, who lived in the Sadduguntepalya police station range, had escaped from the Tamil Nadu's Kew Branch police and the CCB. The accused was detained on Wednesday night and is being held at a secret location and investigation is going on.
