Sharad Pawar reacts over Sushant's death case
NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Wednesday said: "It is unfortunate that a person died by suicide, but why is it being discussed so much? I don't think it is such a big issue."
"A farmer told me that over 20 farmers have died by suicide, nobody spoke about it," he added.

What I said is based on information I have, says Raut
After a notice was given to him by Sushant Singh Rajput's family member, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Wednesday said he is making statements in the actor's death case based on information he has and added that he will look into the matter if he has missed something.
"If there has been any kind of miss on our part, we will think about it. But I will have to look into it. What I have said so far is based on the information I have, Sushant's family is speaking on the basis of information they have," Raut told reporters.

Siddharth Pithani is dubious, very intelligent criminal: Lawyer of Sushant's father
Vikas Singh, the lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput's father, KK Singh, on Wednesday said that the actor's friend Siddharth Pithani is extremely dubious and alleged that he is a very intelligent criminal.
Speaking to Media, Vikas Singh said that Pithani's behaviour towards Rajput's family changed after an FIR was registered against Rhea Chakraborty.

Sushant's cousin MLA Neeraj Singh sends notice to Sanjay Raut, demands apology
Patna: Bihar BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Singh alias Bablu, a close relative of Sushant Singh Rajput, on Wednesday sent a legal notice to Shiv Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut for making controversial remarks about the deceased actor's family, especially his bereaved father, and has demanded an apology within 48-hours.
Bablu, who had accompanied Rajput's family to Mumbai for performing the last rites after the 34-year-old was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, was left fuming by a piece written by Raut for 'Saamna', the Shiv Sena's mouthpiece, and the Rajya Sabha member's refusal to back down.
In the piece, Raut had alleged that the actor, whose suicide is now being probed by the CBI, had been anguished over the "second marriage" of his father and did not have cordial relations with his family, hinting that this might have caused him mental distress and driven him to suicide at the pinnacle of his career.

Sources close to the actor's family deny that his father KK Singh, an FIR lodged by whom at Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna had triggered a tug of war between the dispensations in Bihar and Maharashtra, had tied the knot again after his mother died in 2002.
"I had a good impression of Sanjay Raut. But his cheap (phoohad) comments have left me disgusted," the MLA had said.
