Strict crackdown on protesters against CAA and NRC: VHP

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad demanded strict action from the government against CAA and NRC protestors. Milind Parande accused the leaders of opposition parties of politically motivating the protests.

New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has demanded the government to take severe action against the ongoing protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC across the country.

Milind Parande, general secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, said that all these protests seem to be sponsored and other subjects that have no connection with CAA and NRC are being raised under the guise of protests.

Giving the example of an attack on a rally in favour of the CAA in Lohardaga, the VHP general secretary said that strict action should be taken immediately against those who try to incite violence under the guise of protest.

Milind Parande, said that due to the dharna demonstration in Shaheen Bagh, the common people are facing a huge inconvenience and the government should immediately take action, by removing them from the place and opening the road for traffic.

Milind Parande, while accusing the protesters, said that these people are sitting in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act, but on the same protest, issues like Kashmir and its independence are also being discussed and statements are being made.

Milind Parande also said that the way the leaders of opposition parties are reaching Shaheen Bagh, it seems that this protest is politically motivated and fully sponsored.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad announced that saints and Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists from all over the country will work among the people in favour of the Citizenship Amendment Act and also help the people taking refuge in this country due to religious persecution in their birthplaces.
