New Delhi: The Congress' list of campaigners for upcoming Haryana Assembly elections does not included the name of former cricketer and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Announcing the list of 40 party campaigners for the polls due on 21st of the month, they said that the list was already too long and it was not possible to include more people.
Meanwhile, few Haryana Congess leaders wished Sidhu to be one of the campaigners for the upcoming polls.
Haryana Congress unit chief Selja Kumari said, "It was not possible to include more people in the list of party campaigners."
She also rebuffed charges levelled by Ashok Tanwar, the former chief of the party in the state.
"Allegations and counter allegations are part of politics," she added.
