New Delhi: Former Minister of Karnataka Shobha Karandlaje said that the current political turmoil in the state is a consequence of the internal rift between the Congress and the JD(S).
In conversation with ETV Bharat on Wednesday, Karandlaje said that the Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly KR Ramesh Kumar should accept the resignations of all the MLAs.
"The Karnataka drama will continue for a while as HD Kumaraswamy is neither resolving nor addressing the grievances of the ministers," said Karandlaje.
On being asked about the BJP's course of action, Shobha Karandlaje said, "Our party's policy is to wait and watch the political developments."
According to reports, two more MLAs - MTB Nagaraj and K Sudhakar have reached the Speaker's office and tendered their resignations. The total number of resignations now stands at 16.
