Jhunjhunu: A headmaster of a government school was suspended on Wednesday after a nine-second video surfaced on the internet in which he was seen beating up two elder people.
The Director of Secondary Education of the government school at Badhau in Shri Ram Nagar area of Jhunjhun district suspended the headmaster after the video surfaced in which he was beating up his parents.
The headmaster was identified as Babulal, a resident of Jasrapur. After the video went viral, the police arrested the headmaster Babulal and registered a case of assault against him.
Police said that the parents were trying to resolve a fight between Babulal and his brother after which he started beating up his parents.
The incident took place on September 3 when Babulal's parents asked him to give water to his brothers from his tubewell.
District Education Officer Amar Singh Pachar sent the report to the Director of Secondary Education. On being found guilty in the investigation, director Saurabh Swamy suspended the headmaster Babulal.
