Advocate Maneka Guruswamy appearing for Poonawala said that they (government) can't say no to the accountability.

The bench said that the government must be given some time and wait for normalcy to return in the valley.

AG cites Burhan Wani's incident, saying 46 people died in the aftermath and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is dynamic and a certain section is waiting just for one opportunity.

The Supreme Court asked the petitioner to return after two weeks for gearing and in the meantime, they will assess the situation.
