SC dismisses plea alleging community discrimination during coronavirus pandemic

A PIL alleging discrimination being done with different vulnerable communities amid coronavirus pandemic has been dismissed by the Supreme Court of India.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a PIL which alleged that discrimination are being meted out to different vulnerable communities amid corona pandemic.

The plea mentioned about the discrimination being done with Muslims and those hailing from the North-East.

The court said that there is a direction and advisory and there is no basis for the claim.
