New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday asked AIIMS to medically examine Rajeev Saxena, an accused-approver in the ₹3,600-crore Agusta Westland money laundering case, and submit its report by July 26.
The apex court bench, comprising Justices Ashok Bhushan and Navin Sinha, was hearing the plea filed by Enforcement Directorate(ED) challenging the Delhi High Court order that allowed Saxena to travel abroad on health grounds.
The apex court ordered AIIMS to find out if whether can be treated in India or not as ED had sought to restrain Saxena from going abroad for medical treatment.
