Delhi: The Supreme Court-appointed mediators - Advocates Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran - reached Shaheen Bagh, the epicentre of the anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) protests, on Friday to hold another round of talks with the demonstrators to find a way out of the impasse.

The interlocutors were still negotiating with the protesters at the time of filing this story.

Both Hegde and Ramachandran have been pursuing the protesters to either shift their protest to another site or continue their protest without blocking the road.

The demonstration, which has been going on for over two months, has allegedly caused traffic congestion on a stretch of road near Kalindi Kunj area, against which the Supreme Court has been hearing pleas.
