Attorney General KK Venugopal informed the top court that Myanmar expressed its doubt over the credibility of India after China completed its project in a hurry.
Following that Venugopal pleaded before the court to permit the resumption of the bridge construction in view of India's relationship with its neighbours.
The apex court also showed a gene signal by saying that there will be no stay as it has expired on September 2019.
